My best friend,Wade Sanders, has completed his very first attempt at painting and decaling. As you can see by the attached photos he has done a fantastic job! He actually models in N scale BUT is slowly coming away from the "dark side" (N scale) to the "Promised Land" (O scale)!

Tim, OT, but did I tell you I met Who I think was Wade’s nephew (Doug’s son-do i have that right) at an insurance meeting in Columbia last spring?

I was on the program and introduced myself as being from Chaffee. He came up afterward and said “Did I hear that correctly?”

    Tell Wade “nice work.”

TIM ... Inquiring minds want to know!
Very nice - I like it!
I have one of those too! Mine has one broken off step that I was trying to duplicate and became sidetracked - also am in the process of removing the cast on grab irons and replacing with wire and adding smokestack, brake wheel, tool box, ladders, and a few other details.
Are those decals yours - or store bought?

Chris, that was probably Wades nephew Payton.

I think Wade used some I had made for him but I'll check and see. Once I get finished with the models I'm taking to the NMRA National Convention in St. Louis in July, if it still happens, I will get back to making decals.
