To break up the sea of pink foam board pics and for a bit of inspiration, took a couple of roster pics. Forgot one unit, the undecorated in the subsequent picture. It will be given the black scheme with no side stripes. An A/B set of the FP7s have been pre-ordered as well. Several have work to be done on them. There are two GE 70 tonners to be painted for the A&O, an undecorated 0-6-0 and a fantasy Frisco unit obtained from Mr Ken W's stable in the background as well. I haven't added them to the group roster because I haven't settled on all the numbers.
Ah yes - the Frisco's only GP30! I had forgotten about that one - a former NKP unit it was indeed. At least I finished that one off. More than I can say about the Frisco E8B and the Frisco FM Trainmaster projects. The E8B got started; the FM never made it out of its Athearn Blue Box. Both went to somebody at our estate sale in 2016. Enjoy! K

Thanks Bill. A little progress on the cut this Workshop Wednesday evening. Performed some basic shaping and glued them down. Its getting close to the shape I'm after. Progress will temporarily cease this weekend. Going to Cincinnati to visit our daughter and her hubby. She has officially announced she's expecting, due this Sept. There have been two miscarriages prior, but this time things look great. Also, a brief note, had all my hormone levels checked 1 yr post pit tumor surgery and everything looks good. No growth hormone rises, so likely no tumor return. Replacement thyroid therapy is working. Even the squished little pituitary is working relatively well. An MRI follow up in a couple months will tell the tale, but I feel good since the GH has not increased at all.

I hate to resurrect an old post, but regarding the old map of Seligman, can you tell me what the two trackside businesses are just north of North Ave. in Seligman? They were part of Fawver's lumber and hardware operation storing lumber and cement, and one doubled as a berry warehouse at least part of the time. After Mr Fawver retired it was used as a workout facility for Seligman's boxing team for a year or two in the 1970's. Fawver also had some of his hardware/lumber operation on the southeast side of North Avenue, next to "the Brick" as the corner brick building is called. I live in Hazelwood MO. The "cut" is just about ready for the low loft quilt batting treatment (or plaster prepped cloth). Put a roof on the tunnel section. Threw in a couple of inspiration shots for motivation. The hill needs more material to shape the top and the sides will be ready for shaping once the glue dries. Looks like I will get radii of 28 on the corners.
Outlined some main line right of way, added an s-curve for variety. Story is, that the railroad decided it was cheaper to go around the Ozark foam "granite core" than thru it. Lol.
Did a small amount of terrain shaping to the river bank and "the mound" this evening. The turnout marks the anticipated location of a spur for rural businesses.
