I started with the Frisco in 1973 in MOW. Northern Division. Great place to work and a great career. I remained in the railroad industry for 34 years until retirement.

Welcome to frisco.org Charlie! SLSF was a great railroad; frisco.org is a great group of SLSF fans.

Lost track of you since my 2002 retirement. Maybe we can get together if you are back in the Springfield area. The Railroad Historical Museum, Inc. needs you but maybe you can come visit at your leisure. Currently we are restoring an M9 Track Motor Car. Engine indicates build date of late 1940s. Francis Millers son Steve just this week sent us a HO gauge model on the 187oish depot originally located on Commercial Street. We have a full scale model of the 1890ish depot Elsiore Mo Depot. It is air conditioned and has electricity plus other upgrades.
