Cool. I will go check that out. As for Rick Mc: I sure miss his presence here at the Frisco forums. I hope his absence wasn't occasioned by something that was said by one of us being thoughtless. Andre
Update: Found the video above at: https://store.mrhmag.com/store/p189/dwnld/layout-tours-v4.html Download only currently, but looks like it will also be available in DVD format. There's two layouts I would like to see on that series: Rick Mc's Frisco. Hey, it's FRISCO, so it's got to be good! Don Ball's Stockton & Copperopolis. NINETEENTH century railroadin', so it's got be good, too! Andre
Andre, both Rick's and Don's layout are superb layouts and fun to operate on. Stephen Priest's layout went up quick (5 years from nothing to completion) and unfortunately came down faster (about 4 weeks).
Got a chance to visit the layouts built by Steve Priest, Don Ball and Rick McClellan thanks to the good offices of Keith. Without question, all three are (were) superb. It was a shame that Steve Priest's Santa Fe was dismantled. GS
He only spent three weeks with Scale Trains. He has been consumed with getting their house ready to go on the market since.
