Thank you Dale, at least we were able to walk away. Should be able to get another truck sometime today or tomorrow. The insurance company is cutting the check this afternoon.

I took a video of my 2-8-0 locomotive running on a section of track and need to post it here but don't know how to download it. Please help me.

Cynthia and I bought a 2005 Honda Pilot yesterday afternoon, got a good deal. Cynthia is pretty much healed but I'm still very sore with the ribs. My age has something to do with that. lol

You need to have the video on one of the approved media partners, such as YouTube, Facebook, Dailymotion, etc.

After it's on one of those sites, you can link or embed it in one of your posts.

Glad to hear you guys are doing better and it’s good to see you are getting back to normal with the car situation.
I will be interested in seeing your video when you get it posted.

Here's a short video of 2-8-0 Frisco 1332 running on a section of track. This is my first time to take a video so please excuse the poor quality.

What color is the best match for Frisco ballast from Arizona Rock and Mineral for N scale?

I think that I first bought "B&O, ACL, Frisco, Mopac Ballast". Later there was a "White Limestone Ballast" that was similar. Not sure if the original is still offered.

    Hey Joe,

    Any progress to report?

No progress on the layout, between the broken ribs from the accident on August 03 and back surgery on September 10, I feel like I've been beaten. They put in a Titanium plate, cadaver bone and four screws. Got to the hospital Monday around 8:00am, the start time was about 9:30am. Headed home at 2:30pm the next day, Tuesday. Felt pretty good Monday, but not so well today, been sitting in my recliner most of day. Mostly sleeping. I think I will step away from the layout for a couple more weeks. Sorry for the delay guys, I will get back to the layout soon.

No apologies needed, now get back to work! Just kidding... take care of yourself, then take care of the layout.

(I had a boss once who would frequently come in to the shop and say "you're fired, now, get back to work" to any and all of us.) :)

Thank you for all the well wishes guys!!! Dale, I have titanium plates in my neck and now my lower back. The neck surgery was done in January, 2002.

Now all I have to do is strap a couple jet engines to me, with all of the titanium and fly. lol

Yeah, I’ve had work on both ends, luckily my lower was just a clean-out. I still have one bulged but not too bad. I tells me when I over do it..... I find if I lay on my side and bring my knees up high the tingling in my foot goes down quite a bit. The joys of lifting heavy things for years.....

I’m glad you are doing better. Just remember at our age, don’t be a hero and just follow Dr. orders!

Glad you are getting better buddy!

Well Joe I hope things get better for you soon, man you had some bad luck lately.

  19. I’m with you Dale, I have not felt my left thumb for years. Probably creep me out if the feeling came back now!

Thank you for the well wishes guys!!! I'm 62 years and have all sorts of ailments to show for it. Almost all are just a nuisance, nothing major, the back surgery was planned about a month ago and the whole thing started last January. Today has been a good day, haven't been in much pain. We all have to take care of ourselves because we're getting older. The well wishes helps.
