The Frisco 2660, which was a 4-6-0 type locomotive was built for Kansas City, Ft Scott, and Memphis RR by Manchester during 1883 and it was that railroad’s number 47. After the Memphis Road - Frisco merger, it became number 660, and during 1904 it became number 2660. She was scrapped during
    1916.

Thank you! That's a much better pic of the turntable than what we had to work with!

Any chance this could be recorded or slides posted for those of us who can’t make it to Springfield this week?

This presentation has been well received and will again be given as follows:
    “Chasing the Chadwick Line”
You don’t have to be a train buff to enjoy this glimpse of the railroad that ran daily between Springfield and Chadwick hauling both freight and passengers. “Chasing the Chadwick Line” chronicles the modern-day odyssey to locate and make a record of the last remaining sections of roadbed, many of which are hiding in plain sight from a time when the train snaked its way through the Ozarks hills. This engaging presentation takes you through Greene and Christian counties in the early 1900’s with photographs and animated maps to enhance the journey.
