Oh boy, I hope Matt gets many years of service out of that RS-M2.
The things I have sold over the years, that I want back, well, the list is long, LOL. I sit here looking at the wall(s) of locos.
But it is good that things go onward, and I am happy it lives on!! I hope to see it in a video or perhaps an image on an operating MRR.

    Tom,

I cherish that loco and promis to get you some pics of it on my friends layout. (As I don't have one yet) It has been converted to DCC and runs Like a dream. You have some awesome pieces in your current collection, and I have sure enjoyed getting a sneak peak through your posts. If your Willing, I would love to visit it sometime. I could bring the RS-M2 and you could run it again if your layout is set up for DCC operation.

Matt - Do you still want the four sets of red Texas Special passenger car decals? I think the total would be $9.00. I'll pay the shipping.
    Thanks.

I sent an email to Hubert Mask and he's ready to run decals for the GP-7L. Also I asked him to run Qunah Acme & Pacific decals, will let you know how much money.

Do you have a copy of Frisco Diesel Power by Louis Marre? Plenty of GP-7 photos in there. If not maybe you could get a copy at a library and make some photo copies.

Please post a link for photos and graphics for GP-7L and Qunah Acme & Pacific.

Hubert Mask doesn't have the Frisco Power Book.

Your welcome here anytime Matt. But I am still DC, and will be for a while.

  12. Tom I knew you were still DC. I found it interesting too when we visited the Utah Belt that Eric is still DC there as well.

    Thanks Steve,
Good to see a couple of us left in the stone age still going on.

Make that three, I'm still using DC.
Hope to go to DCC someday but I want to build my basic layout first because of the expense.

I'm another DC only type. Without much of a layout, I never saw the need or justification for the electronics.
How's this for a statement from the past ..... "pulse power works fine".

I used to love pulse power. My United built 2-10-0 would just creep along - great for switching.

Somewhere I saw a graphics for all four phases of the GP-7L. I need to send a copy to Hubert Mask so he will know which phase is which. Please send me a link to the graphics.

Please help me with the graphics for GP-7L. It shows where the stripes are located on the locomotives for all four phases. I need to send the graphics to Hubert Mask, he was ready to run the GP-7L decals last week.
