These pictures, and hopefully many more, richly deserve to be in a THICK book or album.

Or at the very least featured in one of the model magazines!

Most of the engines pictured have been sold.

Many are on display at the Frisco Building in Springfield courtesy of Louis Griesemer. I had so many engines sitting around that nothing could move around the roundhouse. I photographed each one and later decided to reduce the roster by about a dozen.

Still have too many and am still building. Working on the fourth build since the beginning of the year. In the works are a 2-10-0, 2-8-0, 4-6-0 and am busy on another 4000. I really enjoy this more than working on the layout.

    Its an addiction.

    Yes sir, I agree Tom!

Just museum quality modeling there, a real craftsman.

    Don,

Did you retain the Ft. Wood spot engines #19 & 41?

Did you ever model 2-8-0 #1265?

It was used as a Dixon Hill helper.

Ron Williams told me that Louis bought a lot of your "jewels".

    Don,

Your 1402 is a personal favorite. It's probably also unique. I need to add a tender back-up light to my Bachmann 2-8-0 1290.

Can you share what casting you use?

It is a Cary casting, available from Bowser.

I wonder how many all – steam, no – diesel modelers like me are still around?

Some diesels in the collection, but only steam on the layout *except* in ceremonial or special circumstances.

I have diesels I just don’t want them on the current layout.

My next layout is going to be my hometown which will have diesels
