Here are a few unusual items I think some of you might be interested in, so I'll post them here first before going to eBay with them. These are not models, but railroad memorabilia.

    o First:
A Missouri Pacific (and subsidaries) Freight Equipment Diagram Book, covering the years 1900 to 1951. This was published years ago by the Missouri Pacific Historical Society for its membership. The booklet is 8.5" x 11", and is plastic spiral bound on the 11" side. I don't know the exact number of pages as they are not numbered, but the booklet is about 5/8" thick - lots of diagrams, one per page, with some data pages. There also is a MP Equipment Register section included (at the end). Booklet is in very good/excellent condition - I used it but did not abuse it! See the pics.
Price to frisco.org is $17.50. Shipping by USPS Media/Book rate, so cost will be $3 -$5 in my mind. Will determine actual cost when we see where it is going. Could also use Priority Mail if desired. (Withdrawn, no longer for sale)

    o Second:
An Illinois Central Railroad Freight Equipment Car Diagram Book, 1954 edition. This was published years ago by the Illinois Central Historical Society for its membership. The booklet is 8.5" x 11", and is plastic spiral bound on the 8.5" side. Per the numbers, there are 263 diagrams, two per page. Booklet is in very good/excellent condition - I used it but did not abuse it! See the pics.
Price to frisco.org is $12.50. Shipping by USPS Media/Book rate, so cost will be $3 -$5 in my mind. Will determine actual cost when we see where it is going. Could also use Priority Mail if desired, or perhaps First Class. (SOLD, eBay)

    o Third: (SOLD)
This is an unusual item - a graphic designer/printer make up for the graphics to be used in the Frisco October, 1965 Public Timetable documenting the Frisco's consolidation of all system passenger service into two routes - St Louis - Oklahoma via No's 1 & 2, The Oklahoman, and Kansas City - Birmingham via No's 101 & 102, The Southland. This is what the graphic designers used to lay out the graphics for the printers to use to do the PTT. See the pic. Behind E7 (!) SLSF 2005 are the banners for the two new trains. This same graphic was thus reproduced in the 10/65 PTT. It is multiple layers of what looks like mylar, making up the various colors of the graphic. Obviously one of a kind. It is framed behind glass, in a thin wood frame. I had this mounted on my wall in my office at home.
An interesting collectable. (BTW, I got this from an officer of the MoPac HS. Go figure!). Price to frisco.org - only $9.50. Will have to ship in a well structured package as the item is behind glass, but cost will be no more that a discounted Priority Mail cost, $7.

    Fourth:
Another unusual item. This is a Frisco booklet for employees from October, 1959. Likely a training booklet - subject is Foreign Trade. This booklet is spiral bound, left side, 81/2" x 11", in very good condition, with a few folds and notes. See the pics - where the table of contents is reproduced. The main feature in my mind is that the booklet provides a detailed discussion of the Frisco sea port facilities at both Pensacola, FL and Mobile, AL, with an aerial photo and fold-out detailed track diagrams of the Frisco dock facilities at at the ports of Pensacola and Mobile (Blakeley Island). It goes on to discuss the other Gulf ports the Frisco reached via its connections. An interesting book. No page numbers, but the booklet is about 1/2" thick.
Price to frisco.org - $12.00. Shipping via Media/Book rate. Will figure that out when we know where it is going.

    Fifth:
Yet another unusual item - this is a Frisco booklet for employees from June, 1963. Likely a training booklet - subject is Protective Services, Heat/Ventilation/Refrigeration. This booklet is spiral bound, left side, 8 1/2" x 11", in very good condition, with a few folds and notes. See the pics - where the table of contents is reproduced. This booklet is mainly about reefers - what they are, their design and equipment, their support facilities, and how to sell these kind of services to Frisco shippers. Several good photos of reefers, et al. An interesting book. No page numbers, but the booklet is about 3/8" thick.
Price to frisco.org - $7.50. Shipping via Media/Book rate. Will figure that out when we know where it is going.

    Karl -
OK. Understand, it is just the E7 and train banner photo, not the PTT cover with the E8A/E8B running by the river.

    Joe -
I just sent you a PM. Unfortunately, this item is no longer for sale. After I listed it last night, I got to thinking about how often I use it and realized I should not sell it. So, I'm sorry, I have withdrawn it being for sale. My apologies, and I'm sorry to disappoint you.
If there is anything else I still have unsold in all the "Naples Update" postings (I think there are 8), I'll be glad to offer you a nice break on it.

Ken, I appreciate the offer, will take a look at your other sale items. I'm looking for anything Frisco and their connecting railroads, such as MP, MK&T or KCS. Oh, Santa Fe also.

    Joe
