Photobucket really kicked me in the journal boxes when they yanked all my photos and demanded a $399 ransom. I had a ton of photos on this thread.

I see what you are talking about Jim. That's terrible!!! There should be a law against that.

Great image I sitting well laying in my hosp bed after my shoulder surgery.
your image really picked me up.
Seems almost criminal what PB is doing.
How can they keep your images? Seems as that would be theft.

Jim, you do such amazing work!!! Really inspirational. I'm looking forward to seeing more photos, just wish all of the Frisco website members could see your layout in person. Have you considered adding to your layout as far as more layout size?

PS: Jim, I think you have the longest thread on the Frisco website, don't remember ever seeing one that even comes close. On what page is the video you posted of your layout? I would like to see it again.

Thanks Tom and Joe. Photobucket still allows me to view my photos but I have to pay to use them to host my photos on websites. Very unhandy. I have a way to post pics without using them now.
Joe, my dank little basement is too small to allow any layout expansion but I have plenty of work left to do on scenery. I've just been in a slump. I'll try to post that video again if I can.
    Tom, get well soon.

Jim thanks buddy. You will snap out the slump. Usually a swift kick to the journal boxes snaps me me out of about anything.

Have a speedy recovery my friend, and hope the surgery was totally successful.

That thought of a swift kick to the journal boxes sounds painful!

JIM: What Photobucket has done, I hope that it comes back to bite them big time!
May they fine their pool full of alligators, and their yard full of camels!

    TOM: Get well soon!
We are in recovery together - not from the same thing though.

How about frogs? And moles? I find them frequently in my pool.

I built this laser kit to represent the section house at Brownwood, MO. It's the first non-scratchbuilt structure on the layout. The screen door is a kit from Vector Cut. I'll spend some "basement time" tonight and hopefully get a project started. IMG_2801.PNG

Had read some very angry blog posts about the change in Photobucket's business plan. I don't begrudge a business' desire to charge or charge more, but yanking all of the prior photos - without warning, as I understand it - seems a little too ex post facto.

Enough about that. The section house is something else. I've used very fine mesh tea bag material for screen doors, but it's not quite as good as what you're sporting.

    Best Regards,

Great looking kit Jim. That wood/paper detail is great. What is the screen on the door made of?

Thanks, Tom. It's actually a fine metal screen mesh. The kit included several styles of laser cut screen doors and and a mesh sheet. That company also sells many detail parts and farm wagon kits.
