Here is artwork for GP7s and a description of the three phases. The decals picture have numbers that are a scale 13" high. The artwork here has 12" numbers.

This information would have been very useful when I posted a plea for data help in the "Decals" thread some time back.

Maybe we should talk about the decals on the "Decal Special Run" thread...

    http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index.php?threads/decal-special-run.7967/

There has been some information we could have used for the decal thread. Black Cat is asking for dimensions. Are the dimensions that Keith referenced in his last post some of what Black Cat is asking for?

This is the post I was thinking of. It has dimensions that we can use to make decals.

Keith, would you measure the rest of the decals on your sheet please and post them on the "Decal Special Run" thread? The link is in my previous post.

Had an op session today and it was a blast.
Had an east bound thru train and a Quanah turn.
Here we have the power on the Quanah turn train doing their air test.

Had a few guys over last week for an op session, Dale Angell, and his wife Karyn was here and he took video and pictures all day. Then he put a video together and posted it on his YouTube channel "Toyman Television" any way it was a nice surprise to see it done so well, interesting what gets noticed and comment on, when viewed from someone else's lense. Here is the video Dale made.

Great video of a great layout. Now if we would just see doubleheaded 4500s with a trainload of 40' cars and a 1500 with about ten heavyweight cars......................
    Great work Tom.

Oh boy. I can't wait to watch this. I watched the first three minutes and will come back later for the rest.

Did you post this on TrainBoard Tom?

Yep on the weekend modeling thread but no interest in it it seems lol.

  14. Incredible Tom. I have watched your others but this really shows the magnitude of your layout. The quantity of rolling stock and locomotives is amazing too. It seems to run perfect. Greta stuff my friend!!! Thanks for sharing. Steve

Thanks Steve. Now I have even thought of having one of those gawdy MKT Green & Yellow SD40-2's running in pool service here. Man what dizzying array of yellow stripes LOL.

  16. Yeah you already have a lot of striped locos on that layout!
Neat the size of the layout allows multiple roads working and still appears realistic.
How many people are needed to operate? Can you run alone without being over run?

Thank you Don, Charlie, Steve and last but certainly not least Sherrel.
And many others, Sherrel did you see the trees you gave me? They are scattered all over the MRR, but prolly close to those mooners lol. I have heard about you pilots.
Thanks for the beers you bought my brothers by the way. :) :)

Tom, nice to see that the denizens of your layout can get their propane and propane accessories from Mr. Strickland. I keep looking to see if one of the people there was Hank Hill.

    Best Regards,

Awesome as usual. Your level of detail is about the best I've ever seen. I'm stuck out here in Kingman, AZ for two weeks for work and I can't wait to get home to knock the cobwebs off my layout. You're motivating me.
