Ok, so its not a Frisco locomotive, but it used Frisco trackage from Seligman MO to Wayne MO. Trying to find the best kit to use as a starting point for a HO scale version. Correctly positioned/sized domes are hard to find it seems. I've seen lots of info for USRA heavy and light 2-8-2s but I haven't matched the silhouette. M&A #55 was previously AB&C's #207, prior to that AB&A's #98. Scrapped in 1949. All according to J. R. Fair Jr's "North Arkansas Line". Hoping Don W., or Karl B. or ??? can get me closer. Thanks.
Craig: I have lost Karl Brand's contact information. Could you possibly provide same? Seeking information on the KCC&S and on the Greenfield MO to Aurora branch of the Frisco. Suggestions appreciated! Larry Murphy Manhattan, KS larrymurf37@gmail.com
What kind of a place was/is Wayne, MO? A station? Junction? I'm not familiar where the M&A tracks ran or linked up with the Frisco. Thanks, Tom G.
A station and Junction. The was a depot for for the agent/operator. I believe the M&A trains received a clearance card before entering theFrisco.
That sure is a "cute" little Mikado. It would fit in with my Decapod real nice in my imaginary railroad.
