Re: SLSF 950-957 SD40-2 Depositions Wow! I really like this picture. The Frisco lives on ! Ship IT on the Frisco! Rick
Re: SLSF 950-957 SD40-2 Depositions The one with the red on the walkway and side sill is the best. This unit is still in service and has yet to be repainted as of last year. I would love to access to BNSF daily motive power reports so I could see where this soldier is today.
Re: SLSF 950-957 SD40-2 Depositions I know that the BNSF returned these SD40-2s. HLCX reporting marks are on them now. But does anyone know if they are still grinding rails, or have they been scrapped?
Re: SLSF 950-957 SD40-2 Depositions I think he meant dispositions. LOL Yet, he could be talking about old Frisco engines still telling their story in their depositions, such as the showing through of the FRISCO in the pictures above. You say Tow-mah-toe, I say Tow-may-toe!
I was right there with you on the humor. I was just trying to build on your platform. Yes, this is a tough room. .
Well from the few pictures I have seen on a few railroad websites, I am thinking the 8 Frisco SD40-2s are either gonna be, or already are fence posts or car fenders. I figured since those were SD40-2s they would be around a lot longer than this. Sad, very sad.
