Attached are pictures taken of the Frisco bridge over the Fall River just west of New Albany, KS.

They were taken November 31, 2014, while on a tour of the Wichita Subdivision with Bob Hoover (friscofriend).

This bridge would be at about MP422. The pictures were taken from the west for better lighting.

It is on 1450 Road, west of Barber Road, south of US Highway 400.

It can be found on Google Maps, Earth view at at the link below.

Bridge through truss. Note that County 1450 Road makes and S-curve to the northeast to pass under the railroad bridge, than also crosses over Fall River on a low water bridge, to the north side of the railroad right of way. View looking east northeast.

Closer view of the through truss with the east end poured reinforced concrete abutment. View looking northeast.

Bridge west end bridge piers. Note there is an original rough face cut stone pier and now a new poured reinforced concrete pier. When the bridge underwent a modernization, a new west pier and east abutment were built. Then the original through truss was shifted to the west onto the new foundations. View looking northwest.
