Fall River and Wilson County Road 1450 Overpass, Bridge 421.8, New Albany, KS, MP 420.6 - Wichita Subdivision Attached are pictures taken of the Frisco bridge over the Fall River just west of New Albany, KS. They were taken November 31, 2014, while on a tour of the Wichita Subdivision with Bob Hoover (friscofriend). This bridge would be at about MP422. The pictures were taken from the west for better lighting. It is on 1450 Road, west of Barber Road, south of US Highway 400. Note that County 1450 Road makes and S-curve to the northeast to pass under the railroad bridge, than also crosses over Fall River on a low water bridge, to the north side of the railroad right of way. Note there is an original rough face cut stone pier and now a new poured reinforced concrete pier. When the bridge underwent a modernization, a new west pier and east abutment were built.
