    Hey Y'all,

How are you? I've been honored by my local model railroading club, SAMRA - San Antonio Model Railroad Association, to start a series in their monthly bulletin to feature a car of my MOW train and other builds. I'm truly humbled by this. I went to the club today to take some photos on the layout and I was stunned. It's one thing to see your cars on the workbench or on a picture track. It's another to see them on an actual scenic layout. I'm floored. God has truly blessed me with the abilities to make these cars. I'm so humbled. Please don't take this as me being pompous or boastful. I'm not. I have a lot more to learn and will. I just didn't realize the affect scenery has on your finished product. Maybe I feel like Jim James after he does his Westerfields, and puts them on that gorgeous Zalma Branch. I'm pleased. Y'all be the judge.

This thread will be only of photographs of the finished products under scenery, and hopefully soon, I can add some movies under S.A.&A.P. motive power.

    Just sooo.. good.
You are very lucky to visit there - is it very far from you?
You know that you are going to have to go back with your work train too!
Manny - Your work and weathering are just very impressive.

Thank you Jim and Sherrel for your compliments and remarks.
I'm a regular member of the club. It is about 40 minutes from me. I'm on the west side of SA. The club is on the east side. I go maybe 3-5x a month. Fixed income + mileage = $$$ for gas.
Thanks again for your remarks. I still have a lot to learn and I've just learned that taking notes is the best way to do things consistently.

Great work Manny. Favorite shots are photos 12 and 13 where the photographer is in the road waiting for the train to pass.

Thanks. It's a little difficult on the club layout since they model the 1948-1960 era. Pavement didn't exist in 1913 Texas. No dirt crossings to shoot on. Thanks for the remarks. Appreciated.

Same for me, Manny. Nothing is within 40 minutes in California (more like an hour and 40) doesn't matter what you want to do.
Fuel cost keeps me from doing a lot of things that I would like to do, plus the time spent driving.

Some great modeling and scenery for sure. Sure looks like I need to do more work to my scenery. Great photos too.
    Thanks for posting.
